....CO trip and other news

NEWS......... Azariah is on to the solids...he's got those bananas smooshing :) Every one is spoiling him and where ever he goes he finds a new friend. :) He also loves to sit in his walker and slowly make his way around by pushing with his feet and flailing his arms. Zeb, Mom, and Azariah are taking a trip to New Zealand to visit family where, after three weeks mom and Azariah will come back and leave Zeb there to have some over seas work experience. They could use lot of prayer on the trip as well as they are getting ready. There is a 3 and 1/2 hour flight to Los Angeles from Seattle then a 12 hour flight from Los Angeles to New Zealand that all together is a long trip and a tiring one to take, add on a 6 month old baby it makes it even harder. So please pray that everything will go smoothly and fast. We also have a cold along with a stomach bug going through our house, so please pray that none of the travelers will get sick.
Last post I said I would put some picture up of our Colorado trip. Well, I wrote part of this post then started adding pictures...the problem is I took about 900 pictures just on the 9 day trip to Colorado so to save you all from scrolling your finger till it is dead I uploaded some of the photos to Picasa Web Albums if you click -------> here <-------- you can look and comment on some of the pictures that we took.
I hope you all enjoy!!!!

Have a very merry Christmas!!!!!!!

Trip to CO!!!!

Hey all,
We got back from our Colorado trip last night! It took 31 hours on the way there driving all night and about the same on the way back all night as well. We had lots of fun seeing tons of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and more while we were there. Azariah was the youngest Grandkid coming in number 28 and he met a cousin there that was the 38th Grandchild (just a month younger then him). Some weren't able to make it and those who did weren't all there at the same time but that gives you the idea of how big this side of our family in. We got there on Saturday night. And on Sunday there was the Anniversary party which was a blast seeing everyone as well as celebrating Grammy and Granddads 65th wedding anniversary, which does not happen that much any more. We did lots of stuff while we were there and enjoyed it so much. Azariah actually did really well in the car. He got lots of attention there getting held a ton by the various cousins and loved every minute. He started to get a cold on the way back and got tired of the car but still did really well. Well, I'll try and put some pictures of the trip up. But I just wanted to say we all got home safe and sound and had lots of fun on the trip. What a blessing it is though to have such a wonderful family! We love them all.

Life!

Well, I have been meaning to post for a while, but haven't done it! Azariah however is getting bigger and bigger and the rest of the family is having so much fun with him. There are a lot of firsts! Only a couple months ago he went on his first Bike Ride, and in the last week he has started solids. He also found his thumb and almost prefers his fingers and thumb to the bingki, apparently he is the only thumb sucker of the all us kids! :D Today he has also figured out that he has this amazing thing in his mouth that he can move around and make noises with and if you poke it out far enough there is a cool breeze on it! So tonight at Apologetics he was clicking and clacking and humming while he played with his tongue and the rest of us tried to listen to the Men speak on the three Apologetics topics. :D One of the biggest "First things" he has done will start tomorrow when we leave the house up to Jos for 10 days and travel to Colorado for Thanksgiving and our Grandparents 65th Wedding Anniversary. You can pray for safe travel and that both Azariah and the other kids will be able to last in the car for 2-3 days all day and night there and back and not start pulling their hair out. I'll try to get up some more pictures of our trip to CO and of this growing boy. For those who read this to see.

When I began this post I was just gonna write a post with no pictures! But when I decided to just add a couple ...well it got out of hand :D We seem to have million pictures of him and all so cute, so here are a few pictures for ya'all to see.

One day while everyone was gone except for us we got a little crazy! :D Here is one of the pictures we took. (Yep, thats an orange mustache that Malachi has from some juice he drank).

Darts!

Although the following story has nothing to do with Azariah or our family in any way. I hope it might bless those who read it. Think about it as you go through it, I did ...and sadly did't come back with anything joyful, but something indeed that I can work on.

DARTS!
A young lady named
Sally, relates an experience she had in a seminary class, given by her teacher. She says that Dr. Smith was known for his elaborate object lessons.

One particular day,
Sally walked into the seminary and knew they were in for a fun day.

On the wall was a big target and on a nearby table were many darts.
Dr. Smith told the students to draw a picture of someone that they disliked or someone who had made them angry, and he would allow them to throw darts at the person's picture.

Sally's
friend drew a picture of who had stolen her boyfriend. Another friend drew a picture of his little brother..Sally drew a picture of a former friend, putting a great deal of detail into her drawing, even drawing pimples on the face.Sally was pleased with the overall effect she had achieved.

The class lined up and began throwing darts. Some of the students threw their darts with
such force that their targets were ripping apart.Sally looked forward to her turn, and was filled with disappointment when Dr. Smith, because of time limits, asked the students to return to their seats. As Sally sat thinking about how angry she was because she didn't have a chance to throw any darts at her target. Dr. Smithbegan removing the target from the wall.

Underneath the target
was apicture of Jesus. A hush fell over the room as each student viewed the mangled picture of Jesus; holes and jagged marks covered His face and His eyes were pierced.

Dr. Smith
said only these words.... 'In as much as ye have done it unto the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto Me.'
Matthew 25:40.
